What is the size of the market?
There are over 22,000 primary schools in the UK. 99% of classrooms have an interactive whiteboard. This makes the UK market worth £12m per year purely based on subscription sales.
What is DaCapo’s projected market share?
We project a conservative market share of 5.63% by 2027 with a turnover of £1.12m and and an impressive net profit of £842k. These figures are conservative estimates that take into account income from instrument commission and additional resources as well as our subscription sales.
What competition is there in the market?
Our significant competitor’s whiteboard technology does not directly teach music. It relies on teachers to deliver a music lesson based on their resources. In many cases this does not alleviate the anxiety that teachers feel when delivering a music lesson.
In contrast, DaCapo's technology takes full control of the planning and execution of the lesson, meaning that the quality of our teaching is consistent.
With our system, teachers learn alongside the children, allowing them to feel increasingly confident in their own musical ability.
The significant competitor’s 50% market share shows that there is a demand for a digital music learning platform. DaCapo offers an alternative system that is thorough, consistent, and extremely user-friendly.
